Uniform

Our uniform provider is Karl Sports. Uniform can be ordered directly from the following website link:

KS Schoolwear

Much of the school uniform can be purchased from most department / chain stores. The shade of green that we are using is called Bottle Green. We do know that Tesco and M&S DO NOT stock the correct green colour but Asda, Matalan, Sainsbury’s, and Next all do.

The school logo is not compulsory on jumpers. All children in Reception YR 1 and 2 should bring in a book bag. All children in KS2 (YR 3/4/5/6) can bring in a book bag or a SMALL backpack. Children should come into school in their PE kit on PE days. If your child is attending an after school club but are not in PE Kit those days then they should come to school in their normal uniform and they can get changed at school. Please ensure children have the correct school uniform at all times.

Jewellery

The only jewellery allowed to be worn in school is a wrist watch and one stud earring in each ear. If children are unable to remove their own earrings, please ensure that they do not wear them on days when they will be involved in PE. If your child is having their ears pierced, please arrange for this to happen at the beginning of the summer holidays. For health and safety reasons we will not be able to put tape onto children’s ears. If the earrings cannot be taken out your child will have to miss out on their PE lesson.

Hair

  • We would ask that hair is checked on a regular basis and treated as necessary as head lice can be a problem at school.
  • We would ask that long hair is tied back and that a simple headband is worn (ones with ears, unicorn horns, headbands that are worn across the forehead or bandanas are not allowed).
  • We ask that patterns or logos are not cut into the hair.

Personal Belongings

  • Personal Belongings, all items of clothing and equipment (e.g lunchboxes, uniform etc) should be marked clearly with your child’s name
  • Lost property, which has no visible personal identification, will be held in school for a short time only before being added to our second hand uniform stall.
